We had intended to make our August 2020 cruise in company to the Netherlands. The plan being to meet up in Ostend, Sail to Breskens where a couple of late arrivals would join us. Entering the Walcheran canal at Flushing (Vlissingen), would lead us to Middleburg & the start of 14 days of cruising through a miraide of locks, bridges & typical Dutch coastal villages.
Unfortunately our plans had not included for the Coronavirus situation & the event was cancelled. In the end the cruise was confined to the east coast between Lowestoft & Ramsgate, including a visit to Chatham. But next year may be different & for those of you that might like to know what it might be like, here is a link to the website on the Dutch canals.
