Cruise plans for 2021

Because of the Coronavirus problems, our cruise plans for 2020 were seriously disrupted. We did manage some cruises & these are reported

Cruising , historic 2020

So now we have to consider 2021. This is difficult as the government have made it clear that current restrictions can be expected to last at least until April 2021. Hopefully, we will be able to run some short cruises,  which have proved popular, Our hoped for Boulogne & Dutch cruises are clearly off the lists for this year. But all is not lost so scroll down for updates as they become available.

So that our Cruiser class captain can best have an idea of what owners prefer, we invite sensible suggestions- please add them to the “Reply” section below & I will adjudicate them for insertion ASAP once they have cleared the spam check

  1. Jeremy has announced that the first short cruise will be to Brightlingsea weekend of 26/27 June 2021.
This gives plenty of time for boats to be launched around the May bank holiday; as some will be later fitting out than usual, due to the inevitable winter restrictions, that we have all endured
Please put the date in your diaries & he will update you with times, venue for a meal etc-if one can be booked- nearer the date
The east coast cruise will be sat 28August until Sun 12 Sept 2021
The itinerary will be discussed later in the year, when we can have a better idea of who is going & where participants would like to go. Obviously we will not be going overseas, due to covid restrictions. As with last year, we will try to stay in the Lowestoft- Ramsgate region, so that smaller boats can join in.
